In November, 2014, I made a third trip to Zhangye, a city in Gansu Province. I went to visit an Amity teacher whom I have known for some years and to revisit some of the places that had fascinated me on earlier trips. I toured an incredible geological formation, the church had built a new, large facility, surrounded by a growing residential area, I revisited the historic reclining Buddha, and had an adventurous foot massage.
